TRIBUTE STAKES PROPERTY IN SHEBANDOWAN GREENSTONE BELT

Mr. Ian A. Brodie-Brown of Tribute reports In Tribute Minerals continuing efforts to explore properties in Northwestern Ontario, it has acquired though staking a 100-per-cent interest in 5 claims totaling 64 units (approximately 1,024 hectares, 2,560 acres) adjoining Freewest Resources new gold discovery on the Larose property located 120 kilometres west of Thunder Bay in the Shebandowan greenstone belt of Northwestern Ontario.
Freewest's press release dated Nov.11, 2003 states:
"Recent prospecting and backhoe stripping by Freewest have increased the strike length of the Main Zone to 1,500 metres, with the discovery of the Northwest View occurrence. A total of 17 selected grab samples, collected from the Northwest View occurrence, yielded an average assay of 23.85 g/t gold (18.01 g/t gold when individual assays are cut to 30 grams) with assays ranging from 0.02 to 62.93 g/t gold"
Tribute also reports that it is currently in the planning stage to drill test the Arrow Zone in the Confederation Lake belt, intended to follow up historical results from 1997 which included an intercept of 6.3 metres grading 19%Zn, 2.2%Cu, 35.1g/tAg and 1.6g/tAu. Recent geophysical results gathered using the Quantec TITAN 24 system indicate a strong geophysical target relating to both the discovery zone and an untested area referred to as the South Contact Zone. Further details will be provided when drilling is set to commence.
Further assays from the recent Dixie project in the Confederation lake area have been received, results to date from the Dixie property have returned similar low-grade material to that encountered in hole number one. Results from the Fredart Lake property are pending.
