SUMMER DRILL PROGRAM TO FOLLOW UP HIGH GRADE ZINC INTERCEPT AT ARROW ZONE ON GARNET LAKE PROPERTY.
Mr. Ian A. Brodie-Brown reports Tribute Minerals will begin the summer drill program effective Wednesday June 9th, with a proposed three-hole program of approx. 1500 metres. This program will test the depth extension of the Arrow zone, to the west and down plunge of drill hole 2004-03 (1.95%Zn, 1.15% Cu, 0.90 g/t Au and 16.47 g/t Ag over 9.5 metres); the up plunge extension of the Arrow zone from hole 97-2C (19.1% Zn, 2.2% Cu, 1.6 g/t Au and 35.1 g/t Ag over 6.3 metres) and the easterly trend of the Arrow horizon, east of drill hole 2004-04 highlighted by: 12.75m of 6.63%Zn 0.31%Cu 13.20g/t Ag 0.22g/t Au
The Arrow and Dixie properties recently underwent Bore Hole Pulse EM surveys to help target the future drilling on both properties. The Arrow data has been used to assist in targeting the program announced today, and further interpretation based on the Dixie results may lead to an expanded program this season. Tribute recently conducted a Deep IP geophysical survey on the South Bay property along trend from the past producing South Bay mine, results of which are currently being interpreted. It is anticipated these targets will be drill tested as part of the 2004 program.
This program will be conducted under the direction of consulting geologist Trevor Boyd Ph.D., P. Geo, and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind the shareholders of the company that their annual meeting will be held this Thursday, June 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Board of Trade, Toronto.
On Behalf of the Board of Directors,
