Tribute Announces Completion of Four
Year Work Commitment to Noranda - Earns 100%
Interest in Confederation Lake Base Metal Land Package.

Tribute Minerals Inc. is pleased to announce that it has satisfied all of the
exploration expenditure and drilling requirements under the Tribute-Noranda
agreement dated February 12th, 2002 and has earned its 100% interest in the
Confederation Lake Property. Tribute has completed over 16,000 metres of drilling
and spent over $3,500,000 as required in the agreement between Tribute and Noranda
Inc. (now Falconbridge Limited).
Tribute would also like to inform its shareholders that drilling is ongoing at the Arrow Zone, on the Garnet Lake property (some previous results highlighted below). Drill Core from the current winter 2006 program has been cut and sent for assay, assays pending.

On the adjacent Copperlode Property, Tribute has recently completed a Titan deep IP survey over an area covering an interpreted extension of the favourable horizon that hosts the Arrow Zone located two to four kilometres southwest of the Garnet Property. The results are being examined with the purpose of pinpointing drill targets.
