Tribute Announces Garnet Lake, Arrow Zone Update
Tribute Minerals Inc. (the ‘Company’ or ‘Tribute’) announces the return of the final analyses for
the last two holes of its summer 2006 drill program on the Garnet Lake Property, Confederation
Lake Belt, Northwestern Ontario. Results from the sampling of the previously announced three
sulphide-rich mineralized zones in hole GL-2006-34 indicate values of 5.2 metres (4.8 metres true
width) of 0.56% Zn, 0.15% Cu, 0.16g/t Au, 12.1g/t Ag and 2.79g/t Indium, 2.35 metres (2.2
metres true width) of 2.20% Zn, 0.39% Cu, 0.25g/t Au, 10.4g/t Ag, and 8.14g/t Indium and 2.3
metres (2.1 metres true width) of 2.11% Zn, 0.18% Cu, 0.04g/t Au, 11.7g/t Ag and 10.0g/t
Indium. Analytical results from hole GL-2006-33 returned best values of 4.28% Zn, 0.10% Cu,
0.03g/t Au, 9.63g/t Ag and 5.21g/t Indium over one metre (0.86 metres true width).
The results of recently completed borehole geophysical surveys of holes GL-2006-32, 33 and 34
plus four more holes in the vicinity indicate the presence of at least two significant
conductors located downdip to the west and updip from the western end of the Arrow Zone
defined to-date. Assays are pending for two holes which have been drilled in the area since the
commencement of the fall exploration program. Drilling is continuing on the property and is
expected to last throughout November and into the winter of 2007.
Core samples were split in half using a diamond saw and sealed in secure packages, shipped by
bonded carrier from Red Lake to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay for preparation, and to ALS
Chemex in North Vancouver for AU-AA62 assay (gold by fire assay with AA finish) and ME-MS61
47 element analysis (4 acid dissolution and ICP-MS). High analyses (>10,000 ppm, 1%) for
copper, zinc and (>100 ppm) silver were submitted for ore grade AA62 analysis (4 acid
dissolution with AA finish). A duplicate unknown to the laboratory is submitted for analyses per
batch of ten samples. ALS Chemex fulfilled standard QA/QC protocols. The Confederation Lake
exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, P.Geo,
