TRIBUTE INTERSECTS TWO ZONES OF BASE METAL SULPHIDES ON COPPERLODE – CORE TO BE ON DISPLAY AT THE PDAC.

Tribute Minerals Inc. (the ‘Company’ or ‘Tribute’) is pleased to announce the return of preliminary results from its winter drilling program on its Garnet and Copperlode properties; and the return of the final analyses from its fall 2006 drill program on the Garnet Property.

On the Copperlode Property, the first hole, CL-2007-01, has been recently completed in the vicinity of the Copperlode D, E and Hornet Zones. The hole was collared at least 100 metres away from the location of previous drill-holes in order to determine whether these zones are joined, and could signify a larger mineralized zone. Drilling intersected two zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides each hosting visible base metal sulphides. To date, the core from the upper zone has been split and sampled, and sent for rush assay.  Immediate follow-up holes will be testing 100 metres west along strike and 100 metres up-dip from GL-2007-01. These intersected zones are open along strike to the west, east and up-dip directions.

On the Garnet Property, assays for two of four holes have been completed with initial analyses available.  Hole GL-2007-41, collared 125 metres west of GL-2006-35, intersected 120 metres of highly altered, intermittently sulphidic, volcanic rocks with best results returning 1.4 metres (1.1 metres true width) of 2.01% Zn, 0.05% Cu, 0.08 g/t Au, 7.8 g/t Ag, 2.8 g/t Indium.  Hole GL-2007-42 collared 575 metres west of GL-2007-41 located on the north western side of Garnet Lake intersected a series of iron sulphide horizons hosted in highly altered rocks returning anomalously elevated Zn and Cu values.  Drilling continues on the Garnet Property focusing on testing targets beneath Garnet Lake west of the Arrow Zone in the vicinity of GL-2007-41.  Core from hole GL- 2006-39, hosting 3.05 metres true width of 20.3% Zn, 1.23% Cu, 0.47g/t Au, 28.1g/t Ag and 33.1g/t Indium will be on display at the PDAC.

The last Indium analyses have been completed for the two zones intersected in Hole GL-2006-37 last November. The lower zone which had returned previously announced values of 1.25% Zn, 0.67% Cu, 0.81 g/t Au and 6.1 g/t Ag was found to also contain 45.5 g/t Indium over 11 metres (8.25 metres true width), while the upper zone with 2.15% Zn, 0.38% Cu, 0.42 g/t Au and 8.19 g/t Ag over 7 metres (5.25 metres true width) contained 3.68 g/t Indium.

Core samples were split in half using a diamond saw and sealed in secure packages, shipped by bonded carrier from Ear Falls to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay for preparation, and to ALS Chemex in North Vancouver for AU-AA62 assay (gold by fire assay with AA finish) and ME-MS61 47 element analysis (4 acid dissolution and ICP-MS).  High analyses (>10,000 ppm, 1%) for copper, zinc and (>100 ppm) silver were submitted for ore grade AA62 analysis (4 acid dissolution with AA finish).  A duplicate unknown to the laboratory is submitted per batch of ten samples. A polymetallic standard, unknown to the laboratories, is included with each submission of samples.  ALS Chemex fulfilled standard QA/QC protocols. The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, P.Geo, Geological Consultant, Tribute, and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.
